June 2011 Everyday Training are back in Lanza in 2012
Following their first successful camp in April 2011, Jo Carritt and Steven Lord of Everyday Training announce 2 Lanzarote camps in 2012 on 24-31 March and 2-9 April.
The camps are primarily aimed at long distance or accomplished middle and olympic distance athletes. The timing is well suited to those who are racing IM Lanzarote 2012 or as a big block to kick-start the summer season. Spaces are currently still available for each week – they won’t be for long!
The camps offer a highly focused week of volume with a lot of swimming, biking and running, as you can imagine…
Jo Carritt has been one of our sponsored athletes since 2009 and it was with great pleasure that TheTriTouch attended this year’s camp.
In 2012, we will provide Sports Massage for Everyday Training campers during each training week, on site in Lanzarote. Campers will also be able to benefit from reduced massage rates prior to the camps (first session half price).
Jo added: “Following the very successful inaugural EverydayTraining Camp this year we are starting to plan our camps for 2012. Similarly to this year the timing of camps is intended to be ideal for a BIG WEEK training block and course familiarisation for those racing the Ironman Lanzarote in May – or as a fitness kick start for those racing later in the season. Results speak for themselves – the 10 campers who raced IM Lanza after our camp PB’d on the day, with two Kona qualifications!
Part of what made the camps so successful and enjoyable last year was the tight bond that quickly formed between the athletes as they challenged themselves daily – but also, according to the feedback given to us, was all the ‘extra detail’ that we put in, which included sponsor ‘goodies’ and discounts, the availability of nutrition and recovery during the camp and most especially the excellent care provided by TheTriTouch massage team.
We look forward to hosting two camps in 2012 with the continued support of TheTriTouch – get you applications in NOW”
