May 2011: Pearson Sportive Helps Us Raise Funds For Royal Marsden
Our latest event was the Pearson Sportive in aid of the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity where we organised post event Sports Massage for over 500 riders.
This sportive celebrated its second birthday with a choice of 150k or 75k route from Sutton to Brighton and back.
It was also used as one of the spring training ride for the L2P (23-26 June) to test the riders’ speed within their groups.Event logistics were managed by PUNCHEUR.

The event was a nicely timed get together for the massage crew as they prepare to look after 365 riders during the 3-day event from London to Paris for the second year. The latest L2P newsletter explains how it all works.
Aurelie added: ‘All 6 of us were busy during the day helping riders recover from the ride, in doing so we raised £60 for the the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, which we are very proud about.
