Having qualified as a sports massage therapist in 2002, Adele is now a level 4 advanced practitioner, and a level 4 Pilates instructor. Recently having converted her Pilates qualification to the Body Control method, Adele is soon to become a specialist instructor when she has finished her studies in low back pain management.
Currently she splits her time between working as a senior school nurse and providing sports massage treatments at the Pavilion club. In her school role Adele runs the injury management programme for National standard performers in rugby, tennis and hockey, liaising with a strength and conditioning coach, osteopath and medical practitioner.
Being involved in sport from a young age, Adele now focuses on improving her 5k and 10k running times. She also started to race in local triathlons. Her childhood passion was ballet which she still attends each week and when time allows, plays hockey at the weekends.
Adele is keen to continue to offer advice, knowledge and experience to others and to encourage them to focus on prevention of injury as well and rehabilitation. She is dedicated in providing treatment to the best of her ability and is known for going that extra mile.
In 2013 Adele will be on our sports therapy team for The London-Paris and The Alpine Challenge. She has also been accepted onto the prestigious RFU Pitch-side Trauma course.
