Adey is the Head Therapist at our Sigma Sport clinic. He completed his MSc Physiotherapy degree from Leeds Metropolitan University’s in 2010. Soon after this he went out to work in a hospital in Tanzania. Since being back he has had some amazing opportunities working with a number of Rugby Union teams in both the Championship and Premiership while working in private practice in Twickenham. He has a keen interest in shoulder, knee and lower back injuries.
Since a young age, Adey has competed at elite levels, reaching International Level with Roller Hockey and then national level with Men’s Lacrosse just 5 years after starting the sport. He is an avid participant in all kinds of activities with some of his favourites being Snowboarding, Surfing, Climbing and Sailing.
Adey is part of our therapy team for The London-Paris 2013. He was the Physiotherapist for Plymouth Albion R.U.F.C. Since June 2013, Adey is really happy to announce that he has become the London Welsh 1st Team Assistant Physiotherapist. He’s looking forward to working with the brilliant medical services and facilities at London Welsh as they are an ambitious side who, even after a challenging first season in the premiership which resulted in their relegation back down into the championship, are looking forward to a successful season to secure their position once again in the premiership. It’s also a much shorter commute to Adey’s beloved clinic and patients at sigma sport!
