Christine has an academic background in physiology and pharmacology with post doctoral research in cardiovascular physiology.
She is an experienced sports and remedial massage therapist, calling on her considerable knowledge and expertise to maximise the benefits to her patients. Christine has achieved some remarkable results in helping people with chronic problems or injuries in both sport and life in general. As a sports therapist, she continues to support and treat athletes from those just starting out up to international level.
She works with British Triathlon at Championship events and attends many sporting events providing pre and post event massage. She also rides with Karen Darke (pictured), a hand cyclist training for next year’s Paralympics who she works with.

Christine looks at the whole body as she knows that sometimes the painful area is not the real cause of the problem. She uses postural assessments to look for any imbalances and alignment issues that may be causing or contributing to injury, restrictions or discomfort. Her aim is to restore balance, function and postural alignment, allowing muscles and joints to work efficiently and without pain.
