Leanne graduated in Physiotherapy from Keele University in 2008 and has been practicing musculoskeletal physiotherapy since then.
In addition to her work, Leanne teaches undergraduate and postgraduate Sport Rehabilitation students at St Mary’s University College. Her role involves studying how the human body moves, and the biomechanics of walking, running and related sport activities. She is currently training for the Edinburgh marathon.
She spent four years working as a clinical Physiotherapist in a gait laboratory, analyzing peoples walking and running. She is currently keeping herself busy by reading for a higher education degree in strength training with electrical stimulation in both sporting and neurological fields.
Leanne was part of our therapy team for The L2P 2012. She is leading the team of 10 Sports Rehabilitation students from St Mary’s University College to look after the UK Youth fundraisers at The London Triathlon 2012.
