Sam was born in Australia. He looks after a range of athletes from all sports backgrounds and works at a Chiropractic clinic providing deep tissue remedial massage.
Sam has a passion for sports and bike riding of all kinds, having owned his first motorbike at age four. He raced Moto-Cross for over ten years competing in club and National events; and also played rugby for Bromley and Kent. He now plays Tennis, Golf and takes his road bike to track days at Brands Hatch.
Sam speaks fluent French having lived and worked in l’Alpe d’Huez for over eight years enjoying the skiing (competed in downhill and mogul skiing events), snowboarding and paragliding. He watched the Tour De France live on many occasions. He is part of our massage crew for L2P and manages the team for the 7oaks triathlon events. In 2012 he was soigneur for team IG – Sigma Sport at The Tour of Britain. You can watch Sam in action at the Tour of Britain in this video, he is 10:20 minutes in.
Sam lead our team of therapists in South Africa for The Cape Rouleur in March 2013. He was also soigneur for the BCO Bilbao to Madrid ride, looking after 50 riders. For the fourth consecutive year, Sam will be part of our Sports Therapy crew for The London to Paris 2013.
