Tom has been involved in Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation for 9 years and has a wealth of experience working with elite athletes to weekend warriors. He has a master’s degree in Sports and Exercise Medicine and is a former committee member and current member of BASRaT
Alongside working as a musculoskeletal practioneer Tom lectured to post-graduate heath-professionals and undergraduates in the area’s of rehabilitation, biomechanics (of running and injury) and strength and conditioning at St Mary’s University College, his role also involved consultancy work with the colleges Centre for Health, Applied Sport and Exercise Science (CHASES)
He continues to be involved in education and has been sought out for his knowledge and innovative application of power training in triathlon and cycling, an area he continues to research and explore.
Tom also has an appreciation of what is takes to be successful as an age-group triathlete, having qualified and represented Great Britain at Age-Group level. He continues to race from sprint distance to 70.3. He is fast building a reputation for working with age group and elite athletes who are looking to take their training and competition performance to the next level.
Tom founded T2 Coaching from having been sought out for his knowledge and innovative practices by athletes looking to take a scientific approach to their training. His current squad includes professional triathletes, members of the Thames Turbo Powerbar Race Team and GB AG medalists.
